With modern manufacturing facilities, skilled craftsmanship, and stringent quality control processes, JAI manufactures a comprehensive range of industrial valves for sectors including power, transformers, water distribution, marine, infrastructure, process industries, and general engineering applications.

The foundation was laid by Late Pt. Jaswant Rai Prabhakar — an experienced foundry professional who established M/s Jai Jagdish Metal Works in Jalandhar in 1955 after relocating from Gujranwala, Pakistan following the 1947 Partition. A legacy now carried through four generations of the Prabhakar family.

Our Story

Under the leadership of Late Shri Onkar Nath Prabhakar, the company transformed into an independent manufacturing powerhouse. The brand "JAI" earned wide recognition for producing high-quality Gunmetal Gate, Globe, and Check Valves renowned for reliability, durability, and performance.

Today, led by Mr. Vishal Prabhakar (CEO) with the fourth generation represented by Mr. Aditya Prabhakar, JAI continues to grow through modernization, digital transformation, and unwavering commitment to quality.

1947

The Beginning

Late Pt. Jaswant Rai Prabhakar relocated from Gujranwala, Pakistan to India following Partition, continuing his foundry expertise across various industrial establishments.

1955

Foundation of JAI

Founded Jai Jagdish Metal Works in Jalandhar, Punjab — marking the beginning of a valve manufacturing legacy built on integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

60s–70s

Northern India Expansion

Expanded manufacturing capabilities and built a strong dealer network across Northern India. JAI established a reputation for reliability and quality workmanship.

1980s

Second Generation Joins
